Someone described Joe and Kamala's victory speech the other night as, "...opening the outhouse door and letting in a breath of fresh air for the first time in four years," and I can't help but agree with that. And yes, I am relieved at the idea of this country defeating the ghosts of the Confederacy and Nazism without a single shot fired, but goddamnit, we've watched crimes being committed against this nation and against immigrants for the past four years, in real time.

Joe Biden will more than likely pardon Trump because the office of the President is more important than a single person. However, that does not stop the State of New York from prosecuting him and his henchmen cohorts for their roles in the subversion of American Democracy or for simple tax scams - the exact same way Al Capone was brought down.

If the GOP insists on sitting in their own shit for however long it takes them to realize that they were duped - I can't do anything for them, but for me? I'm rolling the fuck out of there and going to take a shower.
