Token Gay dude here: I dated older men because to me they represented stability etc. which I am sure Freud would have LOVED to dissect but it was there. Older men felt safe. Smarter. Wiser. but that wasn't always the case. Often times when I dated older men I was also dating their exes and their baggage and their issues that were a bit too above my paygrade. So, in the end, I married someone younger than me and heh, he was all those things I told myself could only be found in the older demographic. Go figure.
